Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American model and a singer. Kotero was also co-starring in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. She was the lead female singer in Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. Apollonia was a performer/singer who was christened by Prince in 1984 became one of many female musicians of the 80s who benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in the year 1959. Her first professional venture was with modeling in the late 1970s. Also, she was a guest on CHiPS. Apollonia's debut album was released in 1988. The R&B and dance songs were not a huge hit by the public who purchased music. It soon disappeared. The singer was still active, though not in the limelight, as an actress during the decade, albeit with minor film and television roles. An exercise DVD was released.
